What is Great Movie Moments?

Hey everyone!
My name is Jon and I watch a lot of movies! I've worked at a movie theater for the last 2 years and In that time I've missed about 9 of the movies that have come out. I don't know where my love of movies comes from but it started early. I remember as a kid watching Jurassic Park on VHS with my sister over and over again because it was the only movie my family owned. Do you remember the scene at the beginning where the man is yanked into the raptor cage and viciously murdered? Yeah that scene I'm pretty sure traumatized me when I first saw it. The first movie I saw in a theater was at the Super Cinemas and the movie was Batman Forever. I credit this experience for making me a die hard fan of the Batman. Even when I would go visit my extended family in Wisconsin I remember everyone would go to the cheap theater there. This is where I first witnessed the very pleasant surprise which was the first Hangover movie (the sequels not withstanding). It must be the sum of all these moments and a few others I think that have drawn me to movies. This blog is a passion project of mine that has been 21 years in the making. Each week I will review and share my opinions on the new movie releases, talk about important movie news, and do original creative pieces such as a segment called Great Movie Moments where I showcase some of my favorite moments in movies.
